- Account Details: Full Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and assigned user role.
- Volunteer Identity Verification: Profile photo and government identity document (Aadhaar card) submitted exclusively for verifying Lead and General Volunteer applicants.
- Event Registration Data: Event participation, availability, preferred seva categories, skills, and emergency contact details.
- Student & Learning Records: Enrolled workshop modules, attendance, quiz submissions, and direct feedback.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your personal data is used solely for non-profit and community coordination purposes:
- To verify volunteer credentials and authorize role approvals.
- To schedule and organize seva events, coordinate venue logistics, and manage volunteer capacities.
- To send transactional push notifications, event reminders, and emergency broadcasts.
- To manage classes, deliver educational materials, and issue completion certificates.
4. Data Storage & Security
All data and uploaded verification documents are securely stored and encrypted in Google Cloud and Firebase infrastructure. We employ industry-standard SSL encryption in transit, secure cloud storage buckets with role-based access rules, and automated session management to safeguard your information.
5. Third-Party Services & Device Permissions
Our app integrates with standard Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Authentication & Cloud Firestore: For secure authentication and encrypted data persistence.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): For delivering timely volunteer notifications and event alerts.
Device Permissions:
- Camera / Photo Storage: Optional access granted only when uploading verification documents or profile pictures.
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): To receive event reminder alerts.
6. User Rights & Account Deletion
You have full ownership and rights over your personal data:
- You may review, update, or correct your personal profile at any time within the application.
- You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal records at any time via the in-app Delete Account feature in your Profile settings, or by emailing kalpaaayush@gmail.com.
